The Dual 5550 ushers in a new era for Princeton CarbonWorks with a dedicated all-road wheelset designed around wider tyres for life on and off road. The Dual 5550 was born when a better wheel was needed for Paris Roubaix 2021. The goal was to create a light and strong rim that was aerodynamically optimised around 30 to 32mm tyres. With an inner width of 22mm, the Dual 5550 has a tubeless-ready hooked rim offering riders the greatest flexibility in tyre choice and tyre pressure. From 28mm road clincher tyres with inner tubes at higher pressures all the way up to 50mm knobby tubeless tyres at very low pressures, the Dual 5550 will thrive in any terrain – on any surface. Featuring Princeton CarbonWorks’ signature hole-less tyre bed for the best user experience and maximum stiffness. Hooked rims provide the widest array of tyre choices with no tyre pressure maximum, as well as the ability to run both classic inner tubes or tubeless.

At Princeton CarbonWorks, uncompromising performance is a core design tenet, and the Dual 5550 is not only ready for the toughest road and trail conditions but does so with a rim weight below 500g and complete disc-brake wheelset weights as low as 1440g.
