MRP 1x Series Chain Device
Developed with World Cup powerhouse Adam Craig, the 1x (pronounced one-bye) is purpose-built for cross country riding with a 1x9, 1x10, 1x11 drive train. If you are running 1x drive train and don't need a bash guard, this is the ticket. No more homemade contraptions needed! Fits seat tube sizes 28.6, 31.8 & 34.9mm (with supplied rubber shims).
MTB chainline = 49-51mm for middle chainring position on MTB Triple crank.
MRP also gave the MTB version significantly more vertical adjustment, due to the small chainrings that will be used (32t is common) and the large quantity of carbon bikes with flared seat tubes at the BB junction.
Weight: 32-40T: MTB 74g.
Black or White Upper Guide.
Seat Tube Mount - Fits seat tube sizes 28.6, 31.8 & 34.9mm with supplied rubber shims.
Includes spacers for fine chainline adjustability
Looks and works great with a new MRP chainring!
You may just be the type of rider that should be using some sort of chain guide. Some people, especially those who are pushing hard and going fast over rough terrain, are just always going to need some sort of chain guide. - Mike Levy, Pinkbike 2015.
