The Light Blue Darwin One By MT Features in Bikepacking.Com Complete List of 29er Drop-Bar Mountain Bikes
Created:
Bikepacking.com writer Logan Watts explores the possibilities and what truly defines a 29er Drop bar MTB.
The ability to explore far more varied terrains and muddy fields is something that most CX and 650B bikes can struggle with. When the mud becomes to deep or the bridleways too wet then the need for more rubber is essential. This is where the 29er drop bar 'MTB' comes into play, with larger rubber and more mud clearance they can roll over things a normal drop bar bikes would struggle with. The Darwin One By MT is the perfect example of this, with 2.2 29er tyres and a full Sram one by groupset this version of the Darwin will keep you pedalling even in the worst conditions....it’s also great fun on the trails.
