With 30mm of internal rim width, this Skelta wheelset is the most stable of platforms for all your big tricks and inspires confidence in your riding. The Skelta rim has been developed by riders, creating the rim to offer as much durability and performance as possible.

The Skelta wheelset is one of the most durable in Mountain Biking and is built using 6069 T6 heat-treated aluminium with an invisible seamless welded joint for added security. The Skelta rim features a shot-peened surface which provides increased corrosion and fatigue resistance, as well as a uniform matt finish.

After more than a year of heavy testing, we’ve developed the rim design to offer an even stronger wheel without excessive weight. Skelta’s enhanced 30 mm internal width offers a hooked rim profile for added control and tyre security and is compatible with all types of tyres, tubeless or not.

Skelta DJ Front

The front wheel features the brakeless DJ Wideboy hub that offers wide-spaced flanges for optimum lateral wheel strength.

15x100mm thru axle as standard.

Optional extra adaptors are available to fit with forks using: 

• 5/9x100mm QR
• 20x100mm Thru-axle
• 20x110mm Thru-axle 

Skelta DJ Rear

The rear wheel now features our Mantradrive 750 hub using 135mm x M10 Bolt fitment.

150 Points of Engagement: Mantradrive 750 uses 5 leaf spring pawls on a 150-point engagement drive-ring, the system delivers near-instant engagement with only 2.4 degrees of rotation, our highest engagement hub to date.

Durability Under High Torque: Built to withstand the stresses of high-torque applications using CNC CNC-machined Cr-Mo axle and freehub.

Enhanced Load Distribution: By incorporating 7 engagement teeth per pawl instead of the conventional single tooth, the system spreads load more evenly, increasing longevity and reducing maintenance.

Cr-Mo Freehubs: The freehub is made from chromoly for superior durability and reduced cassette bite on HG-splined cassettes. Internally weight-relieved to achieve both strength and lightweight.

6902 Bearings: The integrated Cro-Mo freehub and driver allow more usable space for the bearings. This enables substantial 6902 sealed bearings to be used in the freehub for improved durability and easier servicing worldwide.
