Working externally and supported by a great team of colleagues at our Ely HQ, this is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic candidate to advise and support leading specialist bicycle retailers in offering our product portfolio of some of the finest brands in the cycling industry.
A real passion for any form of cycling will be an advantage. Ison Distribution is a small, friendly, family-owned company that has been passionately involved in the cycling industry for over 125 years.

Main Job Purpose:

To help advise and support leading specialist bicycle retailers in the South East of England & London to invest in, and grow sales of, the Ison portfolio of market-leading products and brands, to meet the needs of the customers.

Ison is a well-established specialist distributor in the cycle industry focused on providing excellent supply and service to quality Independent Bicycle Dealers.
Ison offers over 12,000 different Sku#s including exclusive brands such as Halo wheels, Princeton CarbonWorks wheels, Renthal bars, Squire Locks, Microshift transmission, TSG Safety Gear, HT Pedals, KS Dropper Posts, MRP Chain Devices, Hayes brakes, Rohloff hubs, Gusset Components, Box Components, Benno Etility bikes, Surly bikes, Light Blue bikes, Genetic parts, SP Dynamos etc, plus several other well-established brands including Schwalbe, Sunrace, Sturmey-Archer, Weldtite and Fibrax.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A good technical knowledge of, and an enthusiasm for bicycles, parts and all things cycling.
• Experience in area sales (ideally in the bicycle industry).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good computer skills (including use of MS Office software)
• An organised and self-motivated approach to their work.
• A knowledge of marketing and social media.
